Advance Beauty College in Laguna Hills

Advance Beauty College in Laguna Hills is the company’s second college branch, supporting high demand for Orange County beauty programs. With courses in cosmetology, esthetics, and teacher training, the Laguna Hills school plans to add a massage therapy and manicuring program as well as a barbering program. The courses are tailored to prepare students for a career in the competitive, rewarding beauty industry. With techniques and products, as well as hands-on experience, students can be immersed in the latest courses.

The Laguna Hills beauty college also offers student salons and spas where students can work with clients, practicing in a professional environment. Advance Beauty College is proud to partner with industry leading brands such as Matrix, Dermalogica, and more. These programs also focus on preparing students sit for the state board exams to become licensed estheticians, cosmetologists, and other professionals.

Laguna Hills Business Spotlight

In June 2016, the City Council of Laguna Hills featured several local business spotlights. Advance Beauty College joined a group of aspiring companies to present an overview of their businesses to the council and fellow public community members. Advance Beauty College attended and highlighted the school’s ideals as well as their students’ talents. During a brief presentation, Advance Beauty College shared a business spotlight, incorporating news on recent and past milestones, a brief history of the college, and future plans, as well as ways in which the city may be able to help.

Local Involvement

Through the vision and generous nature of the executive team at Advance Beauty College, including President Tam Nguyen and Vice President Linh Nguyen, the school has been involved in many Orange County organizations that give back to the community. This commitment to the community has given President Tam Nguyen the opportunity to connect with many local leaders, including the Mayor of Laguna Hills, Barbara Kogerman; who also the position as President of the Mission Viejo Rotary Club. In addition to active involvement in the Mission Viejo Rotary Club, Tam Nguyen also participates in the Laguna Hills Chamber of Commerce. Advance Beauty College also supports other local Orange County programs, including the OC United Way Day of Giving, Yesenia Prom Drive, Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce, Saddleback College Fashion Show, and much more.

Student Community Involvement

Students attending the Laguna Hills local college have the opportunity to volunteer with incredible organizations such as Make-a-Wish Foundation and Working Wardrobes. In addition, the college prepares career fairs and fashion week shows to allow students to surround themselves with industry professionals and gain valuable experience for their future careers.
