Advance Beauty College Laguna Hills Grand Opening

Advance Beauty College hosted the grand opening of its newly renovated Laguna Hills campus on Saturday, September 26, 2015. In attendance were over 300 visitors including Barbara Kogerman – Mayor Pro Tem Laguna Hills/President of Mission Viejo Rotary Club, Greg Raths – Mayor Pro Tem Mission Viejo, Steve Jones – Mayor Pro Tem Garden Grove, Clement Pepe – President of the Laguna Hills Chamber of Commerce, Gia Ly – Chair of the VACOC, Michael Getto – Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce, Miss Garden Grove and representatives from the Mission Viejo Rotary Club, Saddleback College, Cal State University Fullerton and representatives of Supervisor Bartlett and Supervisor Michelle Steel.

Laguna Hills Mayor Pro Tem Barbara Kogerman spoke on behalf of the Laguna Hills community and Laguna Hills Chamber President Clement Pepe inducted Advance Beauty College into the local membership organization. Advance Beauty College was also awarded local and state recognition for its impact on the community. Laguna Hills resident and recording artist, Debbi Blackwell sang a patriotic medley and the ceremonies culminated with a dove release.

Following, attendees were invited to view the new facility and participated in a scavenger hunt earning opportunities for various prizes. Mimi’s Jewelry of Fountain Valley donated a diamond pendant valued at $550. Proceeds from the pendant raffle were donated to Yesenia Humanitarian Foundation. Guests were also treated to complimentary hair braiding, face painting, and nail polish services. The festivities concluded with a student showcase featuring hair and makeup looks.

The Laguna Hills Campus is now conveniently located in the La Paz Shopping Center, occupying the former Claim Jumper building. The 9,000 square foot facility was completely renovated and features state of the art classrooms, a full service salon and spa, retail and office space.
